About Us
Join us at Cleanaway and contribute to making a sustainable future possible, together.
We transform waste into resources and renewable energy. When you start to think of waste as a resource, it opens a world of possibilities.
As a high-growth, ASX-listed organisation with over 10,000 employees, our goal is to be recognised by our customers as the most innovative and sustainable waste management company with industry-leading HSE performance. We are Australia’s largest company in this sector, providing essential services to millions of customers and communities nationally.
The Opportunity
Due to a significant systems upgrade and restructure, we have an opening for a Transport Scheduler in Wingfield, South Australia.
Transport Schedulers are responsible for the planning, coordination, and optimisation of efficient daily transport operations across the state. They operate in the Future Operations space, working more than 1 day in advance before handing over to current operations, which work on the day of service. This includes allocating customer jobs to the appropriate routes, fleet assets, and drivers to ensure safe, compliant, and timely service delivery.
The role plays a critical part in balancing customer requirements, operational capacity, and contractual obligations, while maximising asset utilisation and minimising operational costs. The Transport Scheduler works closely with Operations, Transport Solutions Specialists, Customer Service, Sales, and Fleet teams to deliver high service reliability, respond to changing conditions, and support a high-performance and customer-focused transport operation.
- Coordinate closely with site leaders and Customer Service & Administration officers to ensure daily schedules are realistic, accurate, safe, and compliant with fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations
- Foster strong communication and collaboration across operations to build a culture of alignment and accountability
- Support driver engagement through clear route planning and responsiveness to operational challenges
