The Opportunity
This 12-month contract is ideal for a finance professional looking to build on their financial accounting experience within a large, established ASX-listed organisation.
Supporting month-end reporting and financial control activities, you'll play an important role in ensuring the accuracy of financial information that supports business operations and decision-making.
- Prepare month-end reporting, including profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
- Maintain accurate financial records through purchase order processing, invoice management and general ledger activities
- Review financial and operational data to support reporting accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Manage inventory reporting and reconciliations while identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc financial analysis requirements across the business
About You
You are an organised finance professional who enjoys working with detail, takes pride in accuracy and likes being trusted to manage your workload and deliver quality outcomes.
- Relevant accounting or finance experience with exposure to month-end reporting processes
- Experience preparing journals, reconciliations and financial reports
- Practical experience of general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation activities
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems such as JDE or similar
- CA or CPA qualified, or currently working towards completion
- Experience in a multi-site or operationally complex business
