The Opportunity
Based in Geelong, VIC, this full-time position will support the Operations Manager in leading our operations team. You will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction, promoting a strong safety culture, and contributing to business performance and growth.
- Coordinate and schedule day to day operations of drivers runs and weekly work schedule
- Conduct driver debriefs, lead toolbox meetings and manage incident investigations
- Attend and contribute to council meetings and stakeholder discussions as required
- Consulting with line management in the development and management of operational targets
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and effectively resolve customer and stakeholder issues
- Drive operational efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives and process reviews
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance and service delivery standards
About You
We're looking for a confident and engaging leader who is comfortable presenting to groups and has previous supervisory experience, ideally within a transport, logistics or operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams within an operational environment
- Experience within the transport, logistics, waste management or related industries will be highly regarded
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing people, workloads and schedules
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands
- A commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- HR Licence highly regarded
