Project Manager - Fleet Safety Technology

The Opportunity

This 12 month contract is an opportunity to support three of Cleanaway's important fleet safety technology programs.  Specifically designed to reduce vehicle-pedestrian interaction risks and improve workplace safety outcomes across our national operations.

 

Your work will directly influence how frontline employees and contractors operate safely every day while helping deliver strategic safety priorities across the business.

 

  • Support the delivery of Yellow Gear (Plant) Pedestrian Detection rollout, Municipal Sidelift Pedestrian Detection and Forklift Pedestrian Detection programmes across operational sites.
  • Refine existing governance, implementation planning and operational rollout to deliver measurable safety improvements across the network.
  • Coordinate operational leaders, Fleet, Health & Safety, Procurement, Legal, Technology teams, suppliers and external vendors to ensure alignment between operational requirements, safety objectives and business priorities.
  • Support existing procurement activities and vendor performance management to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate site readiness, communications, training and change activities to support successful adoption of new technologies and ways of working.

 

About You

You're a hands-on Project Manager who thrives in operational environments and enjoys delivering tangible business and safety outcomes. You know how to build new project delivery processes and can balance strategic oversight with practical execution.

 

  • Demonstrated experience delivering multi-site projects within operational, industrial, logistics, transport, manufacturing, infrastructure or similar environments.
  • Proven experience operating as a client-side Project Manager, coordinating diverse stakeholders, delivery partners and competing priorities.
  • Strong capability in project governance, scheduling, cost control, risk management and project delivery.
  • Ability to influence operational and corporate stakeholders and drive outcomes without direct authority.
  • Exposure to fleet operations, heavy equipment, transport, logistics, manufacturing or industrial environments.
