The Opportunity
Based in Karratha, WA, the Operations Supervisor is accountable for the supervision of employees and work activities to ensure all operational tasks are completed safely and meet requirements. The role contributes to the branch's collective performance, such as route/service efficiency, teamwork, superior customer service, timely reporting of issues and sharing growth opportunities.
- Maximise customer service and operational efficiencies through effective supervision.
- Investigate and report customer complaints to line management in accordance with requirements.
- Act on equipment maintenance and servicing issues as scheduled, or as a result of pre-start and/or post-run checks, and order parts and PPE, as required.
- Supervise front-line employees and be accountable for the performance of day-to-day operational activities.
- Practice, promote and monitor compliance with Cleanaway’s HSEQ policies, procedures and lifesaving rules.
About you:
- Supervisory and teamwork, ideally within a unionized environment.
- Transport, waste management, logistics and/ or recycling industry experience is desirable.
- Demonstrated operational experience with managing timeframes.
- Industrial/employee relations legislation.
- HS and environmental management systems and legislation.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
