The Opportunity
Based in Malaga, WA, the purpose of the Workforce Training & Capability Partner is to support the continuous development and capability-building of our Drivers, as well as collaborating with regional business leaders, internal trainers, and external partners to develop and nurture ongoing defensive driving/safe operations to reduce accidents, improve on-road capability, and visible leadership/support.
- Align actions with Our Cleanaway Way and Cleanaway Leadership Model, actively fostering a strong company culture centred around high performance and values.
- Encourage a culture of training and development through coaching, training and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to plan for core units of competency for frontline workforce, defining expectations regarding workforce capability and capacity development.
- Participate in site inspections, incident investigations and solution finding for safe services.
- Build defensive driving coaching plans with the aim to reduce on road incidents.
About You
- Able to develop content, standards & processes for the application of coaching/training to optimise the management of the capability & competency of our Driver workforce.
- Experienced in delivering coaching, training & learning to a Driver workforce
- Delivery of Verification of Competency assessment to set standards
- Demonstrated experience developing skills matrices
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills. good judgment, business acumen & a high level of professionalism
- Supports sites inspections and incident investigations
- Tracking industry trends, incidents & best-practices to improve performance standards
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication
- Provide visible frontline leadership and audit driver activities (early starts, on road)
- Holds HR licence (manual desirable)
