About the Role:
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for logistics and a drive for excellence? Cleanaway is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team. In this important role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising our logistics operations, ensuring efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate staff, review routes for efficiency, process payroll, provide general support to drivers and the branch manager, and roll out toolboxes and policies, ensuring chain of responsibility.
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, distribution, and fleet management, ensuring timely and cost-effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with Cleanaway's business objectives and sustainability goals.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs)and identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence.
- Manage logistics budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes, resolve issues, and enhance customer satisfaction.
