About the role:
As a Branch Manager at Cleanaway, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our branch based in Launceston, ensuring that we deliver top-notch service to our clients while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. You will lead a dedicated team, manage budgets, and implement strategies to drive operational improvements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspiring, mentoring and developing your team to achieve operational excellence and meet performance targets.
  • Overseeing daily operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Promoting a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and best practices.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Managing branch budgets, track expenses, and optimise resource allocation to meet financial targets.
  • Identifying areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency

About You
The ideal candidate is an inspired self-motivated and experienced professional with a proven track record in operational management within the waste management, logistics, warehousing or a similar industry.

We are looking for someone who is not only adept at managing day-to-day operations but also excels in fostering a positive team culture, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement. Here’s a closer look at the key attributes we’re seeking:

  • Demonstrable experience in leading and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of operational management, preferably in the waste management, logistics, warehousing or related industry.
  • A deep commitment to safety, with experience in implementing and maintaining safety standards.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Experienced in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and optimising resource allocation to meet financial objectives.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Previous project management experience, together with experience working with Enterprise Agreements will be highly regarded.
