The Opportunity
This newly created role will see you collaborating with our payroll operations team to review, recommend and implement changes to payroll processes and ensure payroll data accuracy and compliance. You will extract and analyse data, identify trends and variances. Additionally, your responsibilities will include.
- Performing data reconciliation between payroll systems
- Conducting regular audits of payroll data and identify variances
- Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards and metrics
- Reviewing, recommending and implementing payroll process changes ensuring legal obligations are met
- Providing dashboards and detailed reporting of payroll variances
- Ensuring accuracy and timelines of employee data and backpay information
About You
Passionate about data and payroll, you thrive in a challenge and enjoy solving a problem. Focused on innovation and collaboration you enjoy setting ambitious goals. You will be great in this role if you:
- Have prior demonstrated experience with large transactional payroll systems and ERP’s such as Kronos or Preceda
- Possess a depth knowledge of EBAs, Awards, Payroll regulations and data management
- Are proficient with data analytical tools such as MS Excel, MS PowerBI/Query or other data manipulation software
- Have strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
- A talented communicator who can convey complex analysis and data to varying levels of our organisation
- Can work to tight time frames and the ability to prioritise and manage your time and tasks
