The Opportunity
Based in either Wetherill Park or Dandenong, the Key Account Manager is responsible for meeting agreed individual sales budgets, targets and KPI’s by providing best-in-class account management to existing Cleanaway Hydrocarbons customers. You will execute strategies which grow and retain profitable revenue growth through maximizing contract term and price with current and new customers. Your customer base is over two states, Victoria and NSW.
Additionally, you will also.
- Develop strategic relationships with customers and industry participants and proactively source new business opportunities
- Keep abreast of competitor activity and maintain up to date database of relevant information
- Ensure all reporting is submitted as required including opportunity pipeline, competitor activity and market intelligence
- Maintain Sales Pipeline to retain and grow customer portfolio value as set through tender responses and quotes
- Ensure CRM is completed accurately, efficiently and within expected timeframes and ensure all customer contracts are stored in Salesforce
About You
Our ideal candidate will have account management experience within a heavy industry environment and be well-versed in complex commercial terms and conditions.
- Proven experience in building revenue within existing client portfolios
- Able to manage time and competing priorities effectively
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills (ability to write and present tender responses)
- Commercial acumen with experience of leveraging volume and price positively
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders (internal/external at same time)
- Organized and self-motivated
