The Opportunity
This is your opportunity to contribute to the future of our fleet teams and operational efficiencies. This pivotal role will oversee the scoping, selection and implementation of critical driver technology to manage transport risk. To implement this programme, you will engage with various internal stakeholders which include Fleet Compliance, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Health and Safety teams to ensure policy and procedures are compliant with legislation. This is a 24 month Fixed Term contract.

- Scope and select suitable driver technology which will enhance our operational efficiency and driver safety
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies
- Monitor project progress, identify, and mitigate risks, and provide regular status reports to various internal stakeholders
- Lead and oversee all aspects of projects, from initial planning to final execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring project milestones are achieved
About You
An experience programme manager with transport and or logistics experience, who enjoys collaborating with others, driving results and thrives in meeting challenging timelines while also ensuring project budgets and milestones are met. To be successful in this role, you will also possess.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, logistics/Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field or a certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent)
- Prior experience executing business-critical projects including risk management within a technical or engineering environment
- Solid understanding of fleet, transport/logistics or supply chain management
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously
