The Opportunity

This is a senior role overseeing one of Cleanaway Daniels' largest and most complex operations. Based at our Silverwater facility, you will lead the end-to-end management of the site, including plant operations, office and administration, logistics, and customer service, where your team will be servicing some of Australia’s most prominent health sector clients.

With two shifts (day and afternoon) and a substantial fleet supporting major hospitals and healthcare providers, this facility plays a critical role in our national healthcare waste management network. You'll be supported by a seasoned leadership team, including a Plant Operations Manager and Logistics Supervisors, but the tone and pace for operational excellence will come from you.

Guided by our Values, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and engage a high-performing team, driving operational excellence across the site.

• Identify market opportunities and manage revenue growth, leveraging insights from data analysis, reporting, and budgeting.

• Foster strong stakeholder relationships, both internally across functions and externally across our client base.

• Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring all compliance and operational standards are met to the highest level.

About You

You are a modern, people-first leader with a forward-thinking mindset. Energetic, hands-on, and visible on the ground, you build momentum through action, not just direction. You cultivate a strong, accountable team culture and lead with purpose and clarity.

Your commercial acumen is second nature, you’re confident managing a P&L, identifying growth opportunities, and improving operational performance across both plant and logistics assets. You’re not here to maintain the status quo, you’re here to raise the bar.

Naturally curious and solutions-oriented, you challenge legacy thinking and drive continuous improvement. You thrive in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments and strike a balance between strategic thinking and day-to-day leadership.

Experience in a large, complex, or matrix-style environment, or a service delivery role supporting industries like healthcare, transport, or logistics, will set you up for success.
