Key Account Manager – Drive Growth & Make an Impact
Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for turning prospects into long-term partnerships? We're on the hunt for a Key Account Manager to help us secure and onboard high-volume, large-scale customers. You’ll play a critical role in driving business growth, managing commercial negotiations, and ensuring a seamless handover to our Account Management team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and nurturing strong, strategic customer relationships.
- Leading commercial discussions and preparing documents, tenders, and tailored contract offers.
- Analysing data to manage costings, pricing structures, and profitability.
- Delivering compelling presentations and negotiating with high-value clients to convert opportunities into business wins.
- Providing reporting and analysis to support key decision-making.
What we’re looking for:
We want someone who thrives on business development and has a strategic, methodical approach to securing new business. Ideally, you’ve worked with Tier 1 clients, bonus points if it’s in the waste, construction, demolition or industrial services sector.
You’ll also bring:
- Strong sales and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Confidence in presenting to varied audiences and navigating complex pricing models.
- Proven ability to respond to and write compelling tenders.
- A technical mindset comfortable working with systems and data to inform your decisions.
- Sharp communication skills and the ability to influence outcomes.
- A strong customer service ethic and a track record of converting leads into profitable partnerships.
