National Sales Manager - [Operations]

IS’ people-centred approach ensures the availability of a highly trained workforce that delivers valuable expertise through our specialised service lines such as high-pressure water jetting, resource recovery via vacuum loading, non-destructive digging, hydro demolition and more across base load contract and project scopes. 

The Opportunity

As we continue to expand, we are seeking an exceptional National Sales Manager to mentor, coach and lead our passionate sales team.  You and your team will play a key role in driving business success through tailored solutions that mutually benefit our customers and Cleanaway.

Additionally, you will be responsible for

  • Leading, coaching and mentoring the account management team nationally to meet individual and business unit budgets, targets and KPI’s
  • Establishing and coaching for performance cadence e.g. client visits and participation
  • Developing and executing sales plans plus maintaining an appropriate sales pipeline to meet agreed sales budgets
  • Leading and mentoring the teams' preparation and response to tenders
  • Proactively managing customer/prospect relationships to target, acquire and grow Cleanaway’s revenue and market share
  • Taking ownership of the sales system, including adoption and utilisation of our CRM Salesforce
  • Preparing and maintaining regular market intelligence & competitor activity reports
  • Managing future cross-sell opportunities and lead generation

 

About You

You are a collaborative sales leader who thrives seeing your team flourish and succeed.  Your highly attuned commercial acumen, strong negotiation skills and an innovative approach to sales strategies will enable you and your team to deliver mutually beneficial sales outcomes.  Additionally, you will also possess

  • Demonstrated sales leadership experience within a national role, driving sales revenue and market share growth
  • The ability to foster a high-performance sales culture through leadership, coaching and performance management to build an effective and resilient sales team
  • A high level of technical competence and a knowledge of industrial business processes and strategies
  • Significant experience in converting prospects/quotes to profitable new business development, and developing existing client relationships
  • A tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Management, Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in preparing pitch documents, tender responses, quotes, and presentations
