The Opportunity
The role of Territory Manager is based in Adelaide within our Oils and Technical Waste Services team. With a focus on “Bulk Liquids” you will work closely with our customers to identify and create tailored waste solutions for their hazardous liquid waste operations. Retaining and growing a profitable portfolio, while also proactively establishing new market opportunities and building a robust new business pipeline, as well as achieving strong contract maintenance, are crucial for success.
Additionally, you will also;
- Develop and nurture relationships with current and new prospective customers within Metro Adelaide and strategic regional locations in South Australia
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects and major resigns being negotiated
- Drive our sustainable approach to waste management in new areas to support growth initiatives
- Proactively manage prospects and customer relationships through the sales cycle
- Network between Cleanaway business units to ensure solutions are available to all large projects
- Provide reporting on financial and sales performance
About You
Along with your ability to build and maintain genuine working relationships with customers, you will also be able to identify and solve customer challenges through sustainable solutions. You will also bring:
- Excellent B2B relationship skills with a proven track record building and retaining existing business
- Experience and understanding of the Technical Waste Industry, Bulk Liquids or Transport & Logistics would be highly regarded
- Effective commercial acumen, solid negotiating and influencing skills
- Experience using (CRM) Customer Relationship Management software and intermediate MS Office skills would be advantageous
- A collaborative communication style with an outstanding new business/sales track record
- The ability to work autonomously, well organised, self-motivated, with outstanding presentation skills and highly developed verbal and written communication skills
