Sales Performance Reporting Analyst

The Opportunity

Based in our Melbourne HO, the Sales Performance Reporting Analyst is key to monitoring and improving sales operations through data analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Management: The role involves "cleaning" customer data. This means ensuring that the data is accurate, complete, and properly formatted, so it can be used to make informed decisions. This also extends to maintaining data logic and master data tables used to systematically interpret data.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: The successful candidate will need to analyse sales data for quality and compliance and report these findings to management. Ensuring that the data adheres to specific standards is crucial in ensuring that any reports produced are valid and useful for decision-making.
  • Salesforce Super User: As a Salesforce Super User, the individual will handle data administration within Salesforce, including creating new reports and understanding the data fields and the flow of data between records. This involves both technical and administrative work, ensuring that the system is working efficiently for the sales team.
  • Business Analysis and Insights: This role is responsible for understanding business needs and providing data insights that can help support and improve the performance of sales teams across the organisation.
  • Reporting and Summary Creation: This includes pulling relevant data, summarizing it, and presenting it in a clear and digestible format for stakeholders. The analyst will help make complex data actionable for key decision-makers.
  • This role would be a good fit for someone with strong analytical skills, familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce, and a keen interest in supporting a sales-driven environment through data insights and reporting.

 

About you

The successful candidate will have strong previous experience in salesforce.com in a sales environment with experience in designing and implementing reporting solutions to benefit the business. This is an opportunity for an individual to grow within the team and be pivotal in the shape of how the business tracks in the future! Experience will include:

  • Data analysis and strong attention to detail.
  • Salesforce expertise, particularly for data entry, report creation, and management of sales-related data.
  • Proficiency with Excel and other tools for data analysis, including Power BI/
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, so experience with collaborative tools and cross-functional communication is likely important.
  • Previous project management experience will be highly regarded
  • Experience in designing and implementing reporting solutions
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and initiatives
