Head of Customer Propositions - 9 month contract

The Opportunity

As Head of Customer Propositions at Cleanaway, you’ll be the voice of the customer at the highest level – tuning in to what our clients, sales teams, and frontline stakeholders are saying, and turning those insights into powerful action.

You’ll lead our Voice of Customer program, steer Bids & Tenders with a strategic eye, and deliver enterprise-wide insights that shape everything from product positioning to our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. Whether it's through data, workshops, or big-picture thinking, you’ll make sure we're not just meeting expectations – we’re blowing them away.

In this role, you’ll also:

  • Design initiatives that put the customer at the centre of everything we do – from product development to service delivery
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Ops and Execs to embed customer insight into strategy, storytelling and execution
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and gaps in our value proposition – then bring ideas to life that solve real customer problems
  • Build and maintain a clear view of competitor positioning and market trends to keep Cleanaway one step ahead
  • Create compelling narratives backed by data that influence senior decision-making across the enterprise
  • Inspire a customer-first culture by supporting and connecting insights in a way that’s impossible to ignore

 

About you

We’re looking for a big-picture thinker with sharp commercial instincts, a love for customer insight, and a knack for turning feedback into action. You’ll be someone who thrives on connecting the dots between market needs and business strategy, can confidently influence senior stakeholders, and knows how to turn a great idea into a scalable solution. A natural collaborator, you bring energy to a room, clarity to complex problems, and a relentless focus on what makes customers tick.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • A strategic storyteller who can translate data and feedback into clear, compelling action
  • Customer centric with a passion for turning insights into wow-worthy experiences
  • Experience leading Voice of Customer programs or similar initiatives in complex organisations
  • Proven success driving Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies that align with target segments
  • A sharp commercial mind with an eye for what makes a value proposition stand out
  • Comfortable working across executive teams, influencing and connecting at all levels, and bringing people on the journey
  • Someone who thrives in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments and loves a challenge
