This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to leverage their Recruitment Consultant/Coordinator skills in a high-volume recruitment environment. Be a part of the magic that is David Jones at Christmas time, by assisting us in selecting and onboarding our Christmas Casual cohort for 2025! 

Based in Melbourne with a hybrid mix of time in the office and work from home, this role requires full-time availability from the start of September to the end of November, with the potential that this might extend through to December if needed. 

Responsibilities 

  • End-to-end recruitment, including screening, candidate assessments and offer phone calls 
  • Source the best talent for our store through Recruitment Showcases/assessment centers 
  • Partner with our store leadership teams to align candidates to suitable departments and roles
  • Overseeing our careers inbox and other related administration tasks

  • Have previous experience in recruitment, administration, or a customer-centric role (volume recruitment background advantageous)
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
