About your opportunity

As a Directed Services Project Manager, you will manage the successful delivery of Directed Services projects including renewals, refurbishments, and improvements to ensure the intended project and business outcomes are achieved.  This includes time, cost and quality as defined by the relevant Business Case. From Gate 1 of the Lifecycle Framework your role includes managing the design, tender and delivery phases of projects and programs, while ensuring project delivery occurs in accordance with Seqwater processes, systems, and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of directed services projects and programs within the asset improvement program, ensuring they are delivered in scope, on time and to specification.
• Deliver allocated projects with a capital value of up to <$3m.
• Provide site supervision (as superintendents Representative) of construction contractors, when required.
• Lead and manage all phases from Gate 1 following the Seqwater Lifecycle Framework.
• Manage the design and delivery phases of projects, ensuing that reports, design plans and documentation is delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner and projects are delivered in accordance with specifications and standards.
• Manage tender preparations and assessment processes including preparation of technical documentation.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Qualifications in Project Management.
• Experience in managing the delivery of projects and programs.
• Experience in the development of sourcing strategies, preparation of business cases to obtain best value, and end to end procurement of services.
• Strong demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly the ability to consult, negotiate and coordinate.
• Experience in Contract Management.
• Current C Class driver’s licence.

This position has a base salary range of $118,579 - $129,013 dependant on experience p.a. plus 12.75% superannuation. Shift and overtime allowances may also apply.
