About your Opportunity

As the Operational Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Maintenance Delivery and Operational Teams. This position provides support to various functions including scheduling of operational work orders, data entry management and support for both Operations and Maintenance Delivery. You will be responsible for the allocation of work to a multi discipline workforce across Seqwater, ensuring that work is allocated based on work order priority, resource availability and constraints identified within the planning process. Identification of efficiencies through development of routes and grouping of work across sites to minimise travel time and repeat site attendance, backlog of works management and reporting of current completion of works will form a major part of the role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in creating and maintaining a detailed schedule for Operational sites, including production requirements, Operational tasks and maintenance activities.
  • Allocation of work orders to Operational and Maintenance staff based on but not limited to work order priority, location and resource availability.
  • Monitor and act on changes to resource availability and constraints in delivering the work planned for completion within the current period.
  • Assist in managing and capturing data that is obtained from the trunk mains inspection program.
  • Develop and maintain 30-day plan of approved works, focusing on maximum resource utilisation and backlog management.
  • Responsible for the site access requirements (PASS) for all works when scheduling, this includes ensuring all works requiring plant shutdown or production impacts are scheduled on the dates as approved on the Site Access approvals.
  • Work with Maintenance Delivery and Operations teams to approve and lock in the 7-day plan for the following weeks work.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Proven experience of utilising a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Experience within an Operational environment.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet applications (desirable).

This position has a salary range of $76,846 - $87,279 p.a. plus 12.75% superannuation
