About your opportunity

As a Strategic Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing standardised tactical maintenance plans that align with Seqwater’s Asset Class plans and overall business objectives. You will analyse both internal and external factors to identify opportunities for improvement and devise strategies to optimise asset utilisation and performance. Your role will involve participating in regular asset register reviews and updates, as well as creating and maintaining maintenance schedules within Seqwater’s Computerised Maintenance Management System. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate the creation of maintenance schedules for new assets, ensuring that resourcing and operational constraints are effectively considered.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to facilitate the timely and effective creation of maintenance schedules for new assets, taking into consideration resourcing and operational constraints.
  • Develop and implement Standardised Tactical Maintenance Plans (TMP) in alignment with Asset Class Plans (ACP) and Business Requirements.
  • Development and implementation of a risk register, identifying the Tactical Maintenance Plans deviations from the Asset Class Plans.
  • Ensure Tactical Maintenance Plans for all operational and natural assets across Seqwater are effectively utilised to facilitate optimum asset utilisation and performance within Seqwater.
  • Ensure Tactical Maintenance Plans define, program and prioritise scheduled maintenance at each facility and location identifying the criticality of equipment and risks to customers and environment.

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Associate Diploma in Engineering, or Asset Management or an appropriate trade qualification in mechanical, electrical, civil, process or recreational and catchment discipline as relevant to the position.
  • Sound demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Possess a current "C" class Queensland Drivers Licence.
  • Knowledge of processes used to assess the condition of assets and establish the most appropriate maintenance regime for the assets.

 

This position has a base salary range of $104,668 - $115,102 dependant on experience p.a. plus 12.75% superannuation.

 

This is a full time, fixed term vacancy until the end of October 2025.
