About Your Opportunity
Play a pivotal role in the protection of Seqwater’s critical infrastructure by investigating security incidents and providing expert counsel to internal stakeholders on the implementation of Seqwater’s security standards. Support the review of emergency response and business continuity plans, while actively contributing to a sustainable lessons management program.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, consistent, and courteous advice by telephone, email and intranet.
- Provide verbal briefings to managers and executives.
- Identify, Interpret, and communicate technical operational data for bulk water production and distribution, dam operations, and catchment management assets.
- Identify and manage stakeholder needs via effective questioning, negotiation, and conflict management.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Prior experience in a related or equivalent role.
- Diploma in Emergency Management, and relevant experience in emergency/crisis management, risk management, disaster management, business continuity or a related discipline is highly regarded.
- Experience and ability to deliver messages to culturally diverse groups.
- Experience in preparing written communication including executive management level reports.
- Experience in workplace investigations.
- Experience in dealing with Government Agencies (desirable).
This position has a salary starting at $90,757 plus 12.75% superannuation and is a permanent full time role.
