About Your Opportunity

Reporting to our Manager Technical Support and Improvement, you will support the team in maintaining requirements and effective implementation of various Seqwater’s business systems and records management.

This role is responsible for:

  • Provide efficient administrative support services to the Manager and broader team, in an environment where confidentiality, responsiveness and proficiency are essential by ensuring that corporate and operational policies/procedures are adhered to effectively and efficiently.
  • Assessment of incoming correspondence and communications, often of a highly confidential nature, to determine appropriate action (collate background material, prepare draft responses, and refer to other officers for action or advice).
  • Organise conferences/workshops and official functions, prepare itineraries, arrange travel, and compile documentation for conferences/workshops and attend same, to provide secretarial and administrative support services.
  • Provide financial administrative support to the Manager to enable management of the team budgets. This includes management of invoices, tracking and reconciliation of budgets and preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports.

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully providing high level administrative services, including those associated with financial transaction management using computerised financial systems.
  • Advanced word processing and keyboard skills and advanced skills and experience in the use of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing high levels of trust, integrity and responsibility in supporting the work and calendars of managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and escalate matters, particularly incoming correspondence and time sensitive matters, to high level managers.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining effective office systems and procedures.
  • Knowledge of and experience with managing documents using electronic document management systems and controlled document systems.
  • Unrestricted Driver’s Licence for a motor vehicle.

 

This position has a salary range of $76,846 - $87,279 (dependent on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation and is a full time, fixed-term role until the 23rd of March 2027.

 

Appointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements. Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically deemed ineligible. Each application will be considered on its merits.
