About Your Opportunity

As a Senior Property Advisor at Seqwater, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and advising on property-related matters, overseeing acquisitions, disposals, leases, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies to support Seqwater's vision of providing water for over three million people in South East Queensland. Embracing Seqwater's values of integrity, respect, care, and courage, you'll lead property-related projects, negotiate transactions, and provide expert advice on native title, planning, valuation, and tenure. With a focus on delivering high standards of customer service and aligning with the Corporate Strategy, you'll drive new property approaches for commercial returns and ensure effective management and reporting of the property portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Effective management of property portfolio, including acquisitions, disposals, leases and licenses.
  • Provide expert advice on property related matters including, native title, planning, valuation, and tenure.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals and compliance with legal requirements
  • Lead property-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with property transactions and management and drive new property approaches for commercial returns.
  • Prepare, present and report on property portfolio performance, project progress and strategic initiatives with recommendations for decision making,
  • Negotiate and manage efficient and effective property transactions including, but not limited to, lease and licence contracts in the areas of grazing and other rural land uses, recreation (camping, fishing, cafes), commercial arrangements, easements, and networks, and telecommunication leases and agreements.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years’ experience in property management with a focus on geographically spread and diverse property portfolios.

This position Has a salary range of $118,579 - $133,528 dependent on experience Plus 12.75% Super and is a permanent fulltime position.

Appointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements. Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically deemed ineligible. Each application will be considered on its merits.
