About Your Opportunity
Join us in an exhilarating journey where you’ll help shape the future of water infrastructure. As part of our dynamic team, you will collaborate with experts to provide engineering and technical guidance, manage work packages, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. You'll be involved from design and procurement to construction and commissioning, making impactful contributions to project management, cost control, environmental sustainability, program oversight, quality assurance, risk management, safety, and scope definition. Together, we'll secure Water for Life for generations to come!
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing dam infrastructure projects across all phases—from feasibility and design to construction, commissioning and closeout.
- Assist and support Project Director and Design Manager with engineering and technical tasks..
- Manage work packages in accordance with performance requirements and monitor progress against metrics including cost, scope, and schedule.
- Support procurement and contract administration for project related materials and services.
- Identify project risks and assist in implementing mitigation strategies.
- Assess, review, and monitor engineering deliverables and construction works to ensure compliance to applicable codes, engineering standards, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
- Assist with preparation of monthly project performance data and reporting, presentations, meeting agendas, meeting minutes and other documentation as requested by the Project Director.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Essentials
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering discipline (e.g. civil, mechanical)
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in infrastructure projects including 2 years’ experience as a project engineer
- Demonstrated experience in engineering and/or construction management, quality assurance, environmental management and WHS management related to infrastructure projects.
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- Construction Industry White Card.
