About Your Opportunity
Reporting to our Manager Commercial and Contract Management, as a Senior Commercial Manager Infrastructure Planning and Capital Delivery (IPCD), you will play a pivotal role in shaping Seqwater’s capital investment strategy and ensuring the commercial integrity of its major infrastructure programs. Partnering with General Managers and senior leadership across Capital Delivery, you will lead the strategic planning, governance, and execution of commercial frameworks that underpin Seqwater’s long-term infrastructure outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive Seqwater’s multi-billion-dollar infrastructure investment strategy by crafting and executing commercial frameworks that deliver value-for-money outcomes and align with long-term strategic objectives.
- Lead commercial governance across all project phases—planning, design, and execution—by implementing robust systems that manage financial performance, contractual compliance, and commercial risk.
- Operate within a matrix delivery model, partnering with senior leaders and embedded commercial teams to integrate commercial functions and influence strategic decisions at the executive and board levels.
- Design and execute procurement frameworks and complex contract negotiations that optimise risk allocation, drive innovation, and ensure compliance with Queensland Government policy and best-practice principles.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A degree in Business, Law or related engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience as a Senior Commercial Manager within the infrastructure or construction sectors.
- Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in the selection, preparation and execution of commercial agreements, with substantial experience in a major capital infrastructure delivery environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex and competing priorities across a dynamic, high-value portfolio
This position will be offered as an individual TFR contract with an attractive salary. This position is a fixed term contract until May 2027
