About Your Opportunity

Reporting to our Mt Crosby Operations Supply Supervisor, you will provide your expertise and input into operational documentation, including the development and review of procedures, work instructions and SOPs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise to support and guide the Operations Supply team with regards to procedures, work instructions, workflows, audits, optimisation and investigations.
  • Develop, improve and update risk assessments, work programs, work instructions, procedures and other documents.
  • Represent Operations Supply with Seqwater's internal and external quality assurance programs including audits, improvements and reporting.
  • Represent Operations Supply team in liaising with Planning Officers and Project Managers in support of the effective delivery of projects within the gateway Capital Infrastructure Lifecycle Program.

 

Hours and Locations 

The ordinary hours for this role are 38 hours per week, working a Monday to Friday pattern (19 day month). Some shift work coverage will be required at times that may include weekends and Public Holidays (shift allowances apply).This role is positioned at Mt Crosby (typically East Bank WTP).

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:  

  • A minimum of a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of Water Treatment Plants - preferably complex plants that include the use of modern technologies, principles and processes. Sound knowledge and/or experience of the principles and processes involved in managing the successful delivery of projects and work packages.
  • High level of understanding of WH&S, Environmental Protection and Water Quality requirements relevant to water treatment plant operations.
  • High level of computer literacy for SCADA system, reporting and maintaining records related to treatment operations and operational maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation and review of procedures, technical documents and performance reports.

 

This position has a salary range of $99,264.38 - $116,451.21 p.a plus 12.75% superannuation and this is a full-time permanent position.
