The Administrative Assistant II provides administrative support for the operations of unit. Performs moderately complex and well documented administrative tasks. Acts as office liaison/receptionist. Receives and routes phone calls, emails, and/or guests. Maintains files and enters data. Drafts and sends communications on supervisor/departmental staff behalf. Reconciles P-Card/Concur for other staff/faculty against departmental budget. Performs some simple budget monitoring/entry. Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.
Social Media Specialist II - 530504
The Social Media Specialist II coordinates and maintains university presence on social media on a daily basis, including developing content to creatively communicate UA's messages on all digital platforms under close supervision. Works closely with Marketing Department within Strategic Communications to maximize digital efforts. Responds to questions/comments on social platforms after conferring with supervisor. Tracks metrics and compiles monthly report. Monitors social media accounts and elevates concerns to supervisor. Creates content to include graphics and videos through platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Covers live events for social media on campus during and outside of normal working hours, including nights and weekends. Develops strategies for increasing engagement and reach of UA’s social media platforms with an emphasis on benchmarking against SEC competitors as well as other peer institutions.

The Facilities Services Associate assists in loading and unloading equipment, supplies, and trash.
Executive Assistant I - 530613
The Executive Assistant I provides administrative support for a Dean, Assistant/Associate Vice President, or position of comparable size, scope, and complexity. Performs complex and non-routine administrative tasks. Acts as liaison of the executive and their office. Drafts and sends communications on executive’s behalf. We seek a visionary student-centered practitioner and scholar to help build a nationally distinctive program aligned with CCHS' founding mission that expands access to high-quality occupational therapy for areas of need, including rural communities across Alabama and the Southeast. The Capstone Coordinator will help build the program, including all aspects of the advanced capstone experience, accreditation, operations, and strategic growth. CCHS is vibrant and growing with academic program offerings in Rural Community Health, Population Health Sciences, Translational Science and Medicine, and several programs on the horizon. CCHS is home to a nationally renowned Sports Medicine Clinic and Sports Medicine Fellowship for Family Medicine Physicians. CCHS also houses Family Medicine and Psychiatry Residency Programs and Family Medicine Residency Fellowships in Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, and Emergency Medicine. The University Medical Center (UMC) within CCHS is a network of multidisciplinary clinics and hospitalists serving communities across West Alabama with approximately 300,000 patient encounters annually.
