Job Summary: The Senior Space Management Analyst performs advanced analytical and IT activities for the University's space management function. Designs, develops, and maintains software systems of moderate to high levels of complexity that can run data analytics on space access. Utilizes 360 degree cameras and / or interior drones to audit, validate, capture spaces across campus.


Additional Department Summary: Acts as a Microsoft SharePoint, Cisco DNA, IWMS, Power BI (or similar) software’s subject matter expert. Supports high visibility implementation efforts and direct engagements with customers to design, implement, and oversee all aspects the solution. Implements and designs solutions with operational ownership for the Space Management team. Executes process engineering and operational improvement initiatives, automation, efficiency for platforms and products. Provides advanced technical support as it relates to issues with optimal customer service. Identifies where concerns may exist in the ability to deliver services and provide appropriate support. Performs configuration, administration, maintenance, and support of Microsoft SharePoint, Cisco DNA, IWMS, and Power BI. Evaluates and recommends hardware and software solutions based on the business requirements and Space Management needs. Provides technical leadership in the design, development and promotion of selected strategies. Prepares documentation that will assist in administration and maintenance of the environment. May lead projects and cross-functional activities. Occasional after-hours support may be required.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of building or interior design, data management, and/or campus development experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of building or interior design, data management, and/or campus development experience.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.


Skills and Knowledge: Expert knowledge of professional application of IT principles, practices, and techniques in accordance with industry standards and University policy. Great amount of evaluation, originality, or ingenuity. Good teamwork and relationship building skills. Creative thinker excited to grow our learning solutions offerings. Resourcefulness, flexibility, versatility, dependability. Strong understanding of software architecture and programming principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (executive, management, individual contributors, etc.). Ability to share relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources. Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills. High degree of human and customer relations skills. Ability to set priorities and multi-task issues. Ability to work with vendor personnel to resolve problems and issues on behalf of the end-user or the University. Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas. Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed.


Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Cisco DNA, IWMS, Power BI, or similar software. Knowledge of automation processes through web services and APIs. Working knowledge of Revit APIs and data transfer.
