Responds to bomb threats and assists with making routine checks for planted explosive devices prior to events that draw large crowds or generate controversy. Promotes UAPD’s community-oriented policing mission through programs, K9 demonstrations, community events, and community interactions. Conducts regular on-shift training and attends supervised training each month throughout the duration of the assignment to provide a safer environment for the campus community. Cares for the departmental K9 placed in their charge twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. |
