Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Summary: This Facilities Strategic Planning and Training Director is responsible for directing the administrative execution of Organizational Training and Strategic Maintenance Planning. Makes recommendations and decisions on program delivery to organizational leadership.
Additional Department Summary: In collaboration with the AVP of Facilities and Grounds, determines long term strategic resource allocation. Manage expenses in adherence to departmental budgets, including training and operating budgets. Maintains knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements relative to departmental operations and ensures departmental compliance and organizational success. Establishes systems and processes to attract, develop, engage and retain talented leaders and technicians. Enable leadership to move decision making through the organization to develop skilled trades and technicians and accomplish unit priorities.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience; OR master's degree and four (4) years of experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier.
Final candidate must submit to and successfully pass a post offer drug test.
Skills and Knowledge: Must have proficiency in technical matters concerning facilities operations and organizational safety. Ability to use word processing and spreadsheet programs. Ability to understand budgets and have knowledge of purchasing procedures. Proficient with personal computers.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, management, communications or related field is preferred. Project Facilities management experience is a plus along with field investigation experience.
