Job Summary: The ACCESS Teacher Mentor provides guidance for ACCESS Teachers. Reviews instructional activities in online class sections. Monitors instructional practices. Assists with incorporation of appropriate resources and practices into daily instruction.
Additional Department Summary: Mentors online teachers and reviews instructional activities in active online class sections.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and experience and expertise in related field of study. Teacher Certificate issued by the Alabama State Department of Education.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Experience with instructional programs delivered in a distance learning environment.
Skills and Knowledge: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to work with groups for successful program/project completion.
Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of experience as a teacher in the ACCESS Distance Learning Initiative.
