Job Summary: The Athletic Intern assists in the daily operations of the Athletic Department. Provides practice coverage for assigned sport. Serve as the onsite liaison for student athletes.
Additional Department Summary: Works full time in the area of Football Equipment Operations. Assists in the daily operation of the Football Equipment Room. Assists in the supervision of Student Managers. Cleans practice and game laundry. Packs uniforms for away events. Setup uniforms in home locker rooms for gameday. Assists with ordering, receiving, and distribution of Nike apparel and equipment. Server as visiting football team liaison.
Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in a Division I Athletic Equipment Room.
Must be able to lift 100 pounds. Must be able to work weekends.
Skills and Knowledge: Ability to work well with others.
