Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some evenings, early mornings, and weekends required.
Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Custodial Services manages the daily administrative and personnel activities of the Custodial Services department. Assists with processes implementation. Assists with budget management and oversight.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree and four (4) years of management or supervisory experience in custodial, hospitality, retail, human resources, or other relevant industry; OR bachelor's degree and six (6) years of management or supervisory experience in custodial, hospitality, retail, human resources, or other relevant industry; OR associate's degree and eight (8) years of management or supervisory experience in custodial, hospitality, retail, human resources, or other relevant industry; OR high school diploma or GED and ten (10) years of management or supervisory experience in custodial, hospitality, retail, human resources, or other relevant industry.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
Skills and Knowledge: Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with various workforces.
Preferred Qualifications: Supervisory or management experience in custodial services
