Job Summary: The Scouting and Analytics Coordinator assists with the collection, analysis, and interpretation of basketball-related data to support the strategic planning and decision-making of the coaching staff. Ensures effective and efficient operations to enhance the success of the program.
Additional Department Summary: Develops and manages a comprehensive analytics program for the baseball program. Assists the coaching staff with the preparation of scouting reports and strategic recommendations for game planning. Plays a vital role in the recruitment process, by utilizing performance data and analytics to create recruiting profiles. Travels with baseball team overnight and on weekends. Also responsible for pitching development, pitching analytics, advance hitters scouting reports, advance pitchers scouting reports, high school pitcher input, transfer portal addition input, Newtforce mound director, analyzing of prospect camps, all Trackman-related matters, computer vison project with the university studies and baseball liaison to the video department.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher and some experience in a sports program at the Division I collegiate or professional sport level.
Skills and Knowledge: Advanced organizational, communication, and public relations skills. Ability to maintain strict standards of confidentiality. Ability to utilize advanced statistical techniques and data visualization tools.
