Job Summary: The Manderson Student Services Program Manager oversees student services to current students of the Manderson Graduate School of Business. Advises students in their degree programs, certificates, concentrations, focus areas, and coursework. Monitors and manages the academic progress of the students. Creates and directs other student learning opportunities such as experiential learning and professional development. Collaborates with the Corporate Relations team to establish and support relationships with Manderson alumni. Communicates effectively with a variety of individuals and groups, including current and prospective students, faculty, alumni, corporate recruiters, and university administrators.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of academic advising or student services experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of academic advising or student services experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to work outside of normal business hours and in varied locations/settings.
Skills and Knowledge: Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to gain support of students, alumni, faculty, staff, administration, and corporate executives. Ability to motivate staff, students, volunteers, and alumni. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications: Graduate business degree. Experience working with graduate students in a business program.
