Job Summary: The College Experiential Learning Coordinator organizes and oversees experiential learning opportunities (co-curricular learning experiences, corporate-sponsored projects, service learning, select student research, etc.) for the college.
Additional Department Summary: Facilitates and advances community engagement, study abroad, undergraduate research, and other experiential learning opportunities serving approximately 7,000 Honors College students. Leads co-curricular experiential programming. Manages campus and community partnerships. Supports assessment and compliance. Collaborates closely with Honors College staff, faculty, community partners, and university offices to ensure high-quality, ethical, and impactful student learning experiences.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of experiential and community-engaged learning models. Strong organizational and partnership-building skills. Experience with program assessment and data tracking. Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree and two (2) years of relevant experience in higher education, community engagement, or experiential learning coordination.
