Job Summary: The UA AI Experience Program Manager oversees the day-to-day administration of the UA AI Experience course, including enrollment management, grading, participant support, and digital badge issuance for all faculty, staff, and students affiliated with the University. Designs and supports programming, learning resources, and instructional materials focused on responsible and effective uses of generative AI in teaching and learning. Collaborates closely with faculty, instructional technology professionals, and campus partners to create professional development opportunities, resources, and communities of practice focused on responsible and effective AI use. Oversees AI training for instructional personnel while ensuring alignment with institutional priorities, ethical guidelines, and academic integrity standards.
Additional Department Summary: Implements and evaluates generative AI initiatives that support teaching and learning at the University. Facilitates the UA AI Experience course for faculty, staff, and students. Stays aware of emerging AI tools, trends, and research to inform practical applications that enhance teaching and learning.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of instructional technology, curriculum development, and/or program management experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of instructional technology, curriculum development, and/or program management experience.
Skills and Knowledge: Proficient with instructional technology tools, learning management systems, e-learning development tools, web editing platforms, CRM products, and database platforms. Knowledge and expertise in the Blackboard Ultra LMS, Credly digital badging platform, and other software tools and systems built into the course.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience and demonstrated success using generative AI tools.
