Normal Work Schedule: Varies; Must be able to work weekdays, week nights, weekends, overtime, and some holidays.
Job Summary: The Custodial Team Lead provides guidance and leadership to custodians in the performance of day-to-day duties. Performs routine manual work in housekeeping and cleaning of interior spaces and immediate exterior areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, polishes and dusts furniture, and cleans restrooms, windows, blinds, mirrors, etc. in buildings across campus.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of custodial experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Skills and Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and more. Ability to lift fifty (50) to seventy-five (75) pounds on a consistent basis, with or without accommodation. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
