Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Successful candidates will have the option to enroll in the Higher Education Administration cohort if admitted to the Graduate School. While entrance into the Higher Education Administration program is not required it is preferred.


Job Summary: The Student Housing Hall Coordinator assists with the operations of an assigned residential community. Supervises and trains Resident Advisors. Serves as the primary point of contact related to student issues or concerns. Provides after-hours on-call and crisis response for assigned area. Promotes a supportive climate for residents to thrive academically and socially.


Additional Department Summary: Completes required training and promoting a safe, hospitable, and respectful workplace. Holds staff accountable for completion of required training and expectations. Has personal accountability for financial reporting and responsibility for establishing, enforcing, and following internal processes and controls as outlined in UA policies and procedures.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher and some student residence life experience.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: This position will be required to live on campus.


Skills and Knowledge: Ability to ability to work outside of normal work hours. Demonstrated commitment to supporting all students.


Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Higher Education Administration. Experience leading, managing, supervising, or advising undergraduate students. Experience working in a residence hall.
