Job Summary: The Producer designs and produces low- to moderate-complexity multimedia programming under moderate supervision. May provide guidance to entry-level Producers.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in fine arts, broadcast communication, telecommunication and film, journalism, or graphic design; OR bachelor's degree in fine arts, broadcast communication, telecommunication and film, journalism, or graphic design and two (2) years of broadcast or multimedia writing, production, and/or direction experience; OR associate's degree fine arts, broadcast communication, telecommunication and film, journalism, or graphic design and four (4) years of broadcast or multimedia writing, production, and/or direction experience; OR a high school diploma or GED and six (6) years of broadcast or multimedia writing, production, and/or direction experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license. Must be at least 19 years of age and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
