Job Summary: The ACRE Engagement and Market Analyst manages the full production cycle of the monthly housing market reports for the Alabama Center for Real Estate (ACRE). Distributes finalized reports to industry stakeholders, media outlets, and academic partners. Leads the creation and ongoing refinement of the Center’s real estate forecasts for all Alabama markets. Analyzes historical and current market data to identify emerging housing trends. Incorporates findings into forecasting models and highlights key insights for publication. Supports the planning, coordination, and execution of industry events.
Additional Department Summary: Manages the Center's research program. Creates monthly housing reports, identifies trends in residential and commercial markets, and creates forecasts of real estate market activity. Assists the Director in industry engagement programs.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Skills and Knowledge: Ability to lead and manage groups of individuals, including student interns, through the planning, development, and execution of major research products, services, projects, and programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation and public relations skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask effectively.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience in the real estate industry.
