The University of Alabama School of Social Work invites applications for three (3) faculty appointments at the rank of Instructor (Renewable Contract Faculty) to begin August 2025, with opportunity to begin May 2025. All SSW Instructors are expected to demonstrate a high level of performance in the classroom, to contribute to instructional effectiveness in assigned courses, and to engage in service/academic citizenship. This is a full-time 12-month non-tenure track position. The expected start date is August 16, 2025, with opportunity to begin May 2025. This is not a remote position.
Chemical and Biological Engineering - Assistant Professor - 524699
The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (ChBE) invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor. Candidates with research interests across all domains relevant to chemical and biological engineering are encouraged to apply. Candidates with particular research emphasis and interests in the areas of bio/metabolic engineering, biomaterials, computational biology, additive and advanced manufacturing, process control and systems engineering, sustainable polymers, and electrochemical engineering are of particular interest and are strongly encouraged to apply. The ChBE department and College are looking to both: (1) add faculty who will build upon existing strengths in the Department, College, and University and (2) add faculty who will expand the scope of research within the department, College, and UA as a whole.
