For every child, a chance
In order to increase the fundraising resources and achieve the established goals in the RM&P Strategy (Resources Mobilization and Partnerships) set by the Global Headquarters and Brazil‘s Country Office, the Digital Fundraising team needs extra capacity to implement the strategy and to meet the goals forecasted due to the growth in complexity, number of individual donors, variety of digital subchannels of communication.
How can you make a difference?
Under the supervision and guidance of the Fundraising Officer (Digital), the Fundraising Associate (Digital Platforms) is responsible for executing a broad variety of routine tasks, requiring full knowledge of UNICEF administrative digital platforms related procedures, processes, and policies, being accountable for communications, operational and administrative support services to enhance the smooth running of the digital platforms and related workflow.
Summary of key functions/accountabilities:
I. Communications & Workflow
- Facilitate the communication and workflow of the Digital Unit with the Platforms holsters, vendors and developers to enhance the efficiency and timeliness of operations and outputs.
- Support and follow up daily routine tasks related to the implementation of digital journey improvements and updates.
- Support and follow up daily routine tasks related to the integration with different platforms and tools through APIS and other ways (CMS, E-mail marketing, database, Google Tag Manager, DPO, Vindi SalesForce etc.)
- Support and follow up different actions aimed at improving the UNICEF’s website CMS (WordPress, GGPx, Drupal and owned)
- Support the implementation of SEO (Search engine optimization) strategy.
- Support the implementation of payment and charging solutions for the website.
- Participate in weekly meetings about learnings, optimizations and new ideas with the team and vendor.
- Support the management of financial processes with the web provider
II. Financial and non-financial agreements of individuals giving section
- Support the monitoring of financial and non-financial agreements of individuals giving section in support of UNICEF's mission and objectives and in the implementation of the strategy of fundraising with partners.
- Analyze market trends, identify opportunities and potential partners to establish contact databases.
- Draft UNICEF proposals through targeted presentations for potential partners for the supervisors' approval.
- Monitor and follow up on existing agreements and action plans with corporate partners on a regular basis to ensure targets are met.
- Support in the design of marketing and communication materials for business.
III. Planning, monitoring, and evaluation
- Support the individual’s fundraising area by assisting on quality planning, monitoring and evaluation to improve performance management of the campaigns.
- Make close supervision and monitoring of the vendors and fundraising assets to ensure timely decision making to assure good quality and quantity results in the donors' acquisition process.
IV. Administrative Support & Other Tasks
- Produce periodic and ad hoc reports, dashboards, documents, letters to document the process.
- Conduct research to collect useful digital data of the market through google search, magazines and other information tools related to the digital market.
- Monitor budgets and financial expenditures of section, ensuring compliance with UNICEF rules and regulations, keeping supervisor informed and advised on actions for decision/follow up.
- Provide follow-up on donation justifications, invoices, and check/transfer receipt with the Operations section.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Minimum requirements:
- Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to programming, coding, IT or digital related areas.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience related to javascript, 3CSS, HTML5; and/or with CMS tool (Joomla, Wordpress, DPO, SalesForce, Vindi, Stripe). Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and hacks; clear understanding of data, analytics, metrics and statistics; A/B Testing and Data Analytics experience; willing to learn; CRM tools; SEO.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English. Knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
Other desirable skills:
- Training and experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other UNICEF software such as SharePoint; knowledge of integrated management information systems required.
- Organizational, planning and prioritizing skills and abilities.
- Ability to deal patiently and tactfully with visitors.
