This position is located within the UNICEF Chile Country Office, which is undergoing a strategic transition towards the "Chile 2.0" model. This model reflects the country's shift to a high-income country (HIC) context, requiring UNICEF to adapt its programmatic focus towards increased strategic advocacy, evidence-based influencing, and enhanced public-private collaboration, aligned with the new Country Programme Document (CPD) 2023-2026. Within this framework, the education function prioritizes adolescents' holistic development, emphasizing essential skill-building and promoting their meaningful participation in educational and community processes. The Education Officer (NOB) reports to the Programme Manager (NOC), a newly established role resulting from the organizational restructuring, responsible for leading and coordinating the area’s programmes. This role plays a critical part in the effective and sustainable implementation of the education strategy, supporting programming processes from planning through execution, in close collaboration with national partners, other UN system agencies, and civil society, ensuring alignment with the corporate strategy and the child rights agenda. |
