The purpose of this consultancy is to finalize and operationalize the subnational INFORM model, ensuring that it meets methodological standards and can be reliably used for child-sensitive climate and disaster risk analysis in Madagascar.
Key objectives include:
• Revising and restructuring the existing draft INFORM model to align with CCRI-DRM standards and UNICEF guidance;
• Validating revised indicators and composite indices through national consultation;
• Integrating the model into the national GeoSight platform;
• Building capacity among national institutions to independently maintain, update, and utilize the model in planning and early warning systems.
The final model will serve as a strategic tool to guide government institutions and partners in prioritizing interventions for risk-informed, child-sensitive development planning and humanitarian preparedness. |
