To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Minimum requirements:
Education: An advanced university degree (master’s or higher) in one of the following fields: Conflict & peace studies or Research methods
Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing conflict analysis in conflict-affected, fragile states.
- Experience of using the findings of conflict analysis to support the development and implementation of conflict sensitive and peacebuilding programming
- Experience in developing capacity to support conflict sensitive and peacebuilding programming (i.e. training; technical support) in fragile and conflict-affected contexts
- Field experience integrating conflict sensitivity and peacebuilding approaches in WASH and UNICEF programmes is an asset
- Experience in working in multi-cultural background
Skills : Knowledge of WASH-related conflict and peace dynamics required
- Good understanding of UNICEF’s WASH HDP nexus approach and related policies and tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Ability to coordinate remotely with team members and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Language Requirements: Fluent in English
Desirables: Fluent in French
