The Supply Financing Specialist will be based at UNICEF Supply Division, and will support the implementation of the UNICEF Supply Division’s Financing Partnerships and Solutions Strategy (which focuses on supporting governments’ mobilization of domestic resources to buy essential supplies while “bridging” timing gaps in government or grant disbursements of Ministries of Health and Finance, development partners, as well as to build new financing opportunities, partnerships and solutions to support the provision of essential supplies and accelerate results for children) related to supply financing activities with respect to other programmes / challenges, especially resource mobilization by national budgets, market dynamics, accessing financing instruments, such as the Vaccine Independence Initiative (“VII”) revolving fund.
