UNICEF Pacific is in search of a dedicated and proactive international or national consultant. The consultancy is for a period of 255 days over 18 months. The consultant will be based primarily in Suva, Fiji (215 days), with regional travel across Samoa, Solomon Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and Kiribati (10 days in each country).
Working under the supervision of the Chief of Child Protection, s/he will play a key role in facilitating and coordinating UNICEF’s overall strategic partnerships to advance the delivery of the regional child protection program.

The Nutrition Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the nutrition programmes/projects within the Country Programme, from development planning to delivery of results. In doing so, the incumbent implements a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of results.
The Public Partnerships Division (PPD) works to strengthen UNICEF’s position as a partner of choice for children’s right among governments and public actors around the world. The intern will acquire direct practical experience in PPD Asia-Pacific Pilla Office in Tokyo (PPD Tokyo)’s work and the United Nations system by supporting the office’s quality assurance, analysis/research, communication and administrative tasks related to resource mobilisation with the Government of Japan activities under general guidance of the supervisor (Public Partnership Manager).
