Under the supervision of the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, the overall goal of this consultancy is to determine the feasibility, readiness, and design of a Regional MICS initiative for the Caribbean Region, while supporting CARICOM and UNICEF in advancing the proposal through the June and November 2026 regional meetings.
This position supports UNICEF Costa Rica’s shift within a high‑income country context by leading work in public finance for children, innovative financing, and strategic policy engagement to advance equity and optimize domestic resources for children. The role combines technical leadership with programme management, ensuring effective planning, coordination, resource oversight, and collaboration across sectors to deliver integrated, high‑impact results for the most marginalized children.
Cette consultance vise à fournir un appui technique au bureau de l’UNICEF au Tchad afin d’assurer la poursuite de la mise en œuvre de la composante « bourse scolaire » du PRET, des activités de protection sociale, ainsi que des paiements en faveur des vaccinateurs, des enseignants et d’autres prestataires. Elle contribuera également aux efforts de préparation visant à renforcer les capacités opérationnelles du bureau pour la gestion des risques liés à l’utilisation de la modalité des transferts monétaires dans la réponse aux urgences potentielles, ainsi que dans les programmes sectoriels et multisectoriels fondés sur l’approche Cash Plus.
The consultant will provide analytical, knowledge management, and programme monitoring support to the Senior Health Advisor and the Global Health Practice/Centre of Excellence (CoE) Panama satellite, with a strong emphasis on documentation, consolidation of lessons learned, and strategic learning from regional immunization programmes. The role includes synthesizing experiences and results from major immunization initiatives—such as Gavi‑funded programmes, outbreak responses, and country technical support—into structured knowledge products and learning materials that guide programme implementation and future investment decisions.
